The story
Clear quartz has been called the master healer across cultures for thousands of years. The ancient Romans believed it was ice from the gods, frozen so hard it could never melt. Guava quartz takes its name from the warm fruit-flesh colour running through it.
Where it comes from
Found worldwide, with Brazil a major source. Guava quartz, the pink to reddish variety coloured by iron oxide, comes mainly from Brazil and Madagascar.

Caring for your piece
Keep it away from perfume, hairspray and cleaning products, and put it on last when you are getting ready. Store each piece separately so harder stones cannot scratch softer ones.
Clean it with a soft dry cloth. Take jewellery off before swimming, showering or sleeping, and natural stones will hold their colour and their polish for years.
