Ametrine holds two stones in one. Amethyst calm on one side, citrine warmth on the other, balanced in a single crystal.
The story
A natural bicolour stone, part amethyst and part citrine, formed in one crystal. Legend traces it to a Spanish conquistador who received the Anahi mine as a wedding gift from a Bolivian princess, which is where the stone's association with the union of opposites begins.

Almost exclusively Bolivia, from the Anahi mine, with some Brazilian sourcing.

Caring for your piece
Keep it away from perfume, hairspray and cleaning products, and put it on last when you are getting ready. Store each piece separately so harder stones cannot scratch softer ones.
Clean it with a soft dry cloth. Take jewellery off before swimming, showering or sleeping, and natural stones will hold their colour and their polish for years.
