Kyanite is the stone of clear speech. Deep blue, grown in long blades, and traditionally worn daily.
The story
The name comes from the Greek "kyanos", deep blue. Kyanite grows in blade-like crystals and has two different hardnesses depending on the direction it is cut, which is why cutters treat it with respect.
Where it comes from
Brazil, Nepal, India and Zimbabwe.

Clear communication, honest self-expression and cutting through confusion. Often described as a stone that never needs cleansing.

Caring for your piece
Keep it away from perfume, hairspray and cleaning products, and put it on last when you are getting ready. Store each piece separately so harder stones cannot scratch softer ones.
Clean it with a soft dry cloth. Take jewellery off before swimming, showering or sleeping, and natural stones will hold their colour and their polish for years.
